Great Sports are dedicated to providing first class coaching and care to children of all abilities in a fun, safe and positive environment.

Our coaches have a wealth of primary school experience and know just how to deliver fun and enjoyable sessions in a secure and rewarding environment.

 

The coaches are established teachers at Wood End Primary School.  Mike Smee is the sports instructor and teaches a range of PE lessons and extra curricular clubs throughout both key stages.  In addition, he is a level 3 football coach and has qualifications in a range of sports including rugby and athletics.  Dan Barron is a qualified primary school teacher (KS1 & KS2) and currently holds the role of PE coordinator.  He holds a number of coaching qualifications and has 15 years coaching experience.

 

All coaches at Great Sports have enhanced CRB certificates and are first aid trained.
